Nancy Uncapher (Pre-School)

 

Mary Beth Stanek (Kindergarten)

Mary Beth earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Purdue University Calumet and a Masters of Science in Elementary Education from Purdue University Calumet.
She has been our Kindergarten teacher since 1981.
Mrs. Stanek was nominated to Who's Who Among America's Teachers in 1996, 2006, 2007 and her staff voted her to receive the Teacher's Excellence Award (presented by East Chicago Foundation) 2003.†
Over the past few years Mrs. Stanek has served as a mentor for teachers in the LEAP program.

Melinda Quasney (Grade Two)

 

Valerie Gomez (Grade Three)

Valerie enrolled in the accelerated program at Calumet College of St. Joseph of Whiting, Indiana in 2004. Mrs. Gomez graduated, Summa Cum Laude, in 2006, with a Bachelorís Degree in Elementary Education. Prior to this she had an Associateís Degree in Business Management at Purdue Calumet, in Hammond, IN.

Her teaching career began in 2006 with the School City of Hammond teaching at Clark Middle School teaching 6th and 7th grade Math. For the next two years she taught 1st grade at St. Catherine of Siena. This is her first year at St. Stanislaus School.

Ball State University, Muncie, IN; graduated cum laude, May 1999 with a degree in elementary education and kindergarten and middle school math endorsements; Purdue University Calumet, Hammond, IN; graduate classes 2002-2003 Indiana Wesleyan College; PLS classes 2006-2007

Michael Morrison (Grade Six)

 

Joyce, Eileen (Junior High)
Received Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Elementary Education with concentration in math and science. Sister has been an Elementary teacher in Northwest Indiana, Louisiana Delta, Lafayette, and Administrator and teacher in Honduras. She has taken extra courses in theology, computer, and language. Extracurricular activities in directing: math bowl, library, and science fairs.
