Our Mission St. Stanislaus School is a parish Catholic elementary school, serving the students residing in the diverse Calumet area. We strive to create a well-disciplined environment of academic excellence. Through quality instruction, we will provide learning experiences in which students come to know Jesus Christ and to grow to their full human potential in a safe, supportive, faith-sharing community.
Philosophy We believe in: · Integration of faith with academic learning · Strong standards based, academic program · Values taught by and lived according to the Gospel · Strong communities · Diversity · Keen awareness of global and justice issues · Meaningful worship experiences · Stewardship and service to our neighbor · Opportunities which educate the whole child · Intrinsic value of every person
Objectives We make a pledge to fulfill the minds of our students both intellectually and spiritually. Because we are in a lower income city, where education for personal success is a must and where holding on to and believing in something is what keeps our city alive, we consider our goal long term.
This being the case, our main objective is to: · Teach our students to educate their minds · Hold Christ in the center of their hearts · Use their voices to inspire and encourage others · Believe in themselves enough to educate themselves |
